“100 Years of Elmer Bernstein”

A One-Night-Only Special Concert Event in Dublin, Ireland – December 9, 2022

On December 9th, 2022, the National Symphony Orchestra of Dublin, Ireland, will be presenting a special concert event in honor of Elmer Bernstein’s centennial.

“100 Years of Elmer Bernstein” will include many of the maestro’s most memorable scores, and will include three concert world premieres, conducted by his son Peter Bernstein and hosted by film music specialist Tim Burden.

Ireland was a long-time favorite destination and escape for Bernstein, who recorded many of his signature soundtracks in Dublin’s Windmill Lane Studios—My Left Foot and Martin Scorsese’s The Age of Innocence among them—and spent many holidays in County Kerry.
